What does your program do? Explain.

The dancer not only spins around, but he says hello and then he grows. We think its the music in his head.

What was difficult about this initial sandbox? Explain

I wanted him to turn, but didn't know how to figure it out in the allotted time. Are the characters three dimensional?


Scratch Lab Experience


- Using the "obstacle course" that has been given to you, figure out how to:

- Complete Task A- Get from Point A to Point B; Have your Sprite start at the beginning of the obstacle course and when the flag is pressed the simulation will begin. Program your sprite to go from Point A to Point B

- Complete Task B- Get from Point B to Point C; At Point B, continue to program your sprite to move to Point C. Upon reaching Point C, when the Sprite touches the Green Circle have the Sprite elicit a noise that lasts 10 beats

- Complete Task C- Get from Point C to Point D; At Point C, continue to program your sprite to move to Point D. Upon reaching Point D, the sprite must recognize it, and then glide to the start, Point A.

For each Task complete the items below to the best of your ability.


Task A


1. Objective- Have your Sprite start at the beginning of the obstacle course and when the flag is pressed the simulation will begin. Program your sprite to go from Point A to Point B

When the flag button is clicked, the scuba man glides to point B which is located coordinate x:21 y:-154

4. What was difficult or challenging. Explain using scientific third person writing.

The most challenging portion of the experience was pasting the image onto the Wiki site. It is essential to be aware of the cursor position.


Task B


1. Objective- At Point B, continue to program your sprite to move to Point C. Upon reaching Point C, when the Sprite touches the Green Circle have the Sprite elicit a noise that lasts 10 beats.
